Navi Mutual Fund, managed by Navi AMC (Erstwhile Essel Mutual Fund), was founded by Sachin Bansal (co-founder and ex-chairman of Flipkart) and Ankit Agarwal (ex-banker with Deutsche Bank and Bank of America).
The company took over Essel Mutual Fund in January 2021. Apart from the fund management business, Navi is involved in developing simple, affordable, and accessible financial products and services for Indians.
They offer personal loans, home loans, vehicle loans (two-wheelers), SME business loans, and general loans.
The AMC is currently offering 16 mutual fund schemes across categories. Out of these 16 schemes, 14 are equity schemes, 2 are hybrid, and 2 are debt schemes.
